Fumigation of grains, nuts and seeds, spices and dried agricultural products before export, with a bilingual certificate carrying a QR code.

Fumigation of agricultural products for export

GCC fumigates agricultural products before export, including rice and other grains, nuts and seeds, spices, bagged dried produce and feed ingredients. Treatment is carried out at the client's warehouse or at Cat Lai port, Cai Mep port or the Tan Thanh border gate (Lang Son), under our licence for treating goods subject to plant quarantine.

Why fumigation is needed

Agricultural products stored and shipped over long periods are prone to weevils, storage pests and other insects. Eggs and larvae often sit deep inside bags or inside the grain itself, where they are hard to see with the naked eye. Many importing countries require a fumigation certificate with the shipping documents. A shipment without a certificate, or with live insects, may be held, re-treated or sent back at the port of destination.

How GCC helps

  • Fumigation of cargo in containers or in the warehouse before loading
  • Advice on the right method and fumigant for each commodity and for the importing country's requirements
  • Bilingual English and Vietnamese treatment certificate with a QR code for verification, issued about 10 minutes after treatment when documents are complete
  • Cargo inspection for the same shipment when the client needs it

Before booking

Please tell us the commodity, packing type (bags, cartons or bulk), number of containers or weight, treatment location, destination country and loading date. GCC will recommend a method and assign the right team.
