Rice Bran Inspection

Inspection of quantity, weight, packing and condition of rice bran, plus loading supervision, with a bilingual QR-coded certificate within 1 day.

Rice Bran Inspection

Rice bran is a high-oil animal feed ingredient that can turn rancid, cake, go mouldy or become infested if it is not stored and shipped well. Buyers therefore often ask for its condition to be checked before delivery. GCC inspects rice bran at the warehouse, mill or port, and records the results on a bilingual English and Vietnamese certificate with a QR code, usually issued within 1 day.

What GCC inspects

  • Number of bags and weight of the goods, by the method agreed between the parties
  • Packing, shipping marks and bag condition (torn, wet or soiled)
  • Condition of the goods: colour, odour, caking, signs of mould, live insects
  • Representative sampling and sealing of samples
  • Container check (clean and dry) before loading, loading supervision and sealing

For parameters that require laboratory analysis, contact GCC for advice based on your contract requirements.

Fumigation for the same shipment

Export rice bran usually has to be fumigated before delivery. GCC handles both inspection and fumigation for the same shipment, so the client deals with a single point of contact.

Before booking

Please tell us the quantity, packing, inspection location and time, destination country and any requirements in the contract or L/C.
