Inspection of export rice
GCC inspects rice at the warehouse, mill or port at the request of the seller, the buyer or as required by the contract. Results are recorded objectively on a bilingual English and Vietnamese certificate with a QR code, usually issued within 1 day after the inspection is completed.
When rice inspection is needed
- Before delivery, to give the buyer a basis for acceptance
- When the contract or L/C requires a third-party inspection certificate
- When goods are received into a warehouse or handed over between parties
- When an objective record is needed in case of differences over quantity or condition
What GCC inspects
- Number of bags and weight of the goods, by the method agreed between the parties
- Packing, shipping marks and packing condition
- Visual condition of the lot: colour, odour, visible foreign matter, live insects, signs of moisture or mould
- Representative sampling and sealing of samples
- Container check (clean and dry) before loading, loading supervision and sealing
For parameters that require laboratory analysis, contact GCC for advice based on your contract requirements.
Fumigation for the same shipment
Export rice often needs both an inspection certificate and a fumigation certificate. GCC handles both for the same shipment, so the client deals with a single point of contact.
Before Booking
Please tell us the rice type, quantity, inspection location and time, destination country and any requirements in the contract or L/C.
