Global Cargo Control (GCC) fumigates export containers and cargo at Cat Lai port, Cai Mep port, Tan Thanh border gate (Lang Son) or at the shipper’s warehouse. GCC operates under phytosanitary treatment licence No. 050/XHKT/BVTV-KD issued by Vietnam’s Plant Protection Department.
Commodities we commonly treat
- Agricultural products: rice, coffee, cashew nuts
- Plant-based goods: bamboo leaves, rattan, bamboo, sedge
- Feathers and other goods of animal origin
- Timber, furniture, wooden dunnage
- Wooden pallets: GCC works with a heat-treatment facility
Process and timing
- Tell us where the shipment is and when it needs treating, by phone or Zalo.
- Our technician arrives, in as little as about 30 minutes.
- Treatment takes about 1 hour when conditions allow.
- We issue a bilingual English and Vietnamese certificate about 10 minutes after treatment. Every certificate carries a QR code so overseas partners can verify it themselves.
The fumigant and treatment method are advised for each commodity and the importing country’s requirements.
