Import-Export Cargo Inspection

Global Cargo Control (GCC) inspects import-export cargo at warehouses, factories or ports: checking quantity, weight, condition and quality, and supervising container loading. GCC is registered for commercial inspection services with Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade. Inspection certificates are bilingual (English and Vietnamese), carry a QR code, and are usually issued within 1 day of the inspection.

What we inspect

• Quantity, weight and packing
• Condition and quality against the contract or the customer’s requirements
• Container condition before loading
• Bagging, container loading and container sealing supervision

Commodities

GCC inspects a wide range of import-export goods on request. Common commodities include:

• Rice: broken ratio, moisture, foreign matter, whole kernels, yellow, red, chalky and damaged kernels
• Rice bran
• Other agricultural products and export goods

Process

1. Send us the shipment details, location, timing and inspection requirements (or the sales contract).
2. GCC agrees the scope and parameters to be inspected with you.
3. Our inspector attends the warehouse, factory or port to inspect and take representative samples.
4. GCC issues a bilingual English and Vietnamese inspection certificate with a QR code, usually within 1 day of the inspection.

Inspection and fumigation from one provider

GCC carries out both inspection and fumigation. For the same export shipment you deal with one company for both, cutting waiting time between steps before the cargo is shipped.

Which parameters do you check? Those set by the sales contract or the customer. GCC will advise once we receive the shipment details.
